A new Church Spiritual Growth series, Transformed, will be starting on Sunday, September, 11 at Door To Hope church in Hopewell, New York.
This series is based on the Saddleback Church’s 50 Days Of Transformation. This series is explained by Pastor Warren as, “The only way to truly change your life is to change the way you think. During this series, based on the Transformed study, learn about the habits, truths, and characteristics that enable change—lasting change—to happen in your life.“
Saddleback Church has over 20,000 attendees for services every week in Orange County, California. Saddleback is lead by Pastor Rick Warren, the head pastor there since 1981. It is located in Lake Fores, California. This is in Southern California just south of Los Angeles.
The Series at Door To Hope starts with a kickoff of session number #1 on Sunday, September 11, after the monthly Fellowship meal.

In the last year specifically our dear brothers and sisters in Christ in the Middle East have been under consistent terror and threats to their lives as well as lives of all in their community.
It is with this in mind that we ask you to pray consistently for confusion in the enemies camp, as well as pray fervently for God’s protection for the millions that are being persecuted for being followers of Jesus Christ.
We encourage you to go to the following site to enlist your prayer support for them now, today June 29. Please go to Pray For Them today to show your support for them. Let’s pick up our support as the enemy ramps up their attacks to coincide with their religious holidays.
Let this be one of your prayers for the Middle East today: “Almighty God, you are a miracle worker. And I come to you in the mighty name of Jesus asking for a miracle in the Middle East.
Mobilize the hearts of thousands of people today to pray, asking that on July 2nd millions of Muslims will seek you on the Night of Power and discover the love and forgiveness found only in Jesus
Awaken our hearts with a passion for you, Jesus. That your name will be made famous in all the earth! In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
So here are the suggested actions that would be very much appreciated by all in the Middle East:
To all of our Door To Hope Church regular goers please remember that this Thursday May 5, 2016 is National Prayer Day. While we are still blessed with the right to pray in public, please gather at Atwater Park in Canandaigua, New York at 6:30 pm.
Don’t forget there is a Prayer Breakfast at Schooners on Thursday at 7:00 am as well.
In this election season 2016, we are asking all in our church and the local community to be praying for our leaders in government. The leaders in our local government levels, the state government, and the Federal government all across the United States of America.
On Wednesday evenings we hold our weekly prayer centered mid week service. This service is at 7:00 pm. We are joining in prayer support for the “Franklin Graham 50-State Decision America Tour 2016”.
Franklin’s tour started earlier in this year. As of April 5, he had visited the state capitols in 13 states. Following his 13th tour stop in Sacramento, California, Franklin Graham will visit 37 more states to encourage Christians to pray and vote.
We Join Franklin in prayer for our country in this election year, and pray for each and every state
Door To Hope Church announces the celebration of Advent 2015. We are currently heading into the second Sunday of Advent. We would like to invite all from the Canandaigua community to join us in the Sundays of Advent leading up to our Christmas Evening service on December 24, 2015.
Pastor Barry and Anita, will be leading our annual Christmas Eve candlelight service at 6:30 pm on Thursday December the 24th. We celebrate the four Sundays with great anticipation of the yearly celebration of the birth of Baby Jesus on December 25.
The service is a light-hearted service, which includes 3 or 4 Christmas Carols, a couple of bible readings, and a very short word from the Pastor. So don’t miss this hour of Christian fellowship which ends with the lighting of each individual candle.
Recently we at Door To Hope Church have reached a point in our walk that we now are able to work on some beautification type projects. Some of these improvements can be seen by just driving by the church.
You will see that new bright, clean looking siding is be applied. This is not only adding vitality to the appearance of the building but also, will structurally and functionally improvement the buildings operation for us.
Take at look at some of these photographs. We also have added needed improvements to our nursery. Please find an included picture of this as well.
